++ AGENDA FOR THIS WEEK’S MEETING

I must keep this short. Once I got my tractor and chain saw out of the
repair shop I have been very busy cleaning up storm debris.

Our 12 noon luncheon for Wednesday, August 24th will be held at
Italiano’s restaurant, 4801 North Lincoln in OKC. Last January we had
Sarah ****** scheduled to speak and it turned out to be a day in which
we had a snow storm. We had to change locations at the last minute as
our restaurant was closed and therefore only a small crowd was able to
attend. Sarah is doing missionary work in China with a focus on pro-
life efforts. Sarah has just recently returned from China since she
was with us in January. Also speaking will be a man that has been
doing kind of a free lance missionary work in China for several years.
I am not going to use his name so as to not cause him trouble in the
future.

++ ANNOUNCEMENTS

* TUESDAY EVENING - ADA AREA - The Ada/Seminole area tea party
will have their monthly meeting tonight, 6:00 p.m. in the Industrial
Arts Classroom on the campus of the Career Tech Center in Ada.
Speaking tonight will be Oklahoma’s Attorney General, Scott Pruitt and
Oklahoma State Representative Sally Kern. These meetings are well
attended and I urge folks within a 50 miles radius to attend if at all
possible.

* WEDNESDAY EVENING - STATE CAPITOL - The Stand with Israel event
will occur this Wednesday on the South steps of the State Capitol,
starting at 7:00 p.m. This is in conjunction with Glen Beck’s Stand
for Courage event going on in Jerusalem this week. Please bring your
lawn chair. The organizers have set up a big screen measuring 137
inches for viewing. There will be several elected officials speaking
at the event.

This past Thursday, I attended a briefing with a person from the
Israeli office in Houston. It looks like the Palestinians will go to
the U.N. General Assembly on September 20th where it is believed they
will have enough votes to force the creation of a new nation for the
so called “Palestinians” by carving up the tiny nation of Israel.
Please remember, in the Middle East area, Israel posses about 1% of
the land mass, with the Arabs already possessing the other 99 percent.
Should the U.N. resolution go forward, things could get really dicey
in Israel as this will not be a negotiated agreement and no boundaries
are currently defined in the motion which is expected to be presented.
Israel’s back is against the sea and they can’t afford to give up any
more as long as the people wanting to take more of their land have as
their desire to wipe Israel off the face of the earth.

I know of one church in Guthrie that is also participating in the Glen
Beck event. It is Community Church, located on the Northwest corner of
the interchange of I-35 and Seward Road, just South of Guthrie. They
are starting their meeting with some preliminaries at 6:00 p.m.

* THURSDAY EVENING - WARR ACRES - Jenni White, founder of Restore
Oklahoma Public Information (ROPE), will present her information about
the dangers of the Core Curriculum Standards during the Change a
Nation for Christ meeting this Thursday at Victory Church in Warr
Acres. The meeting will be held in the South Building and starts at
7:00 p.m. The church is located at approximately 43rd and North
MacArthur in Warr Acres.

* SATURDAY MORNING - OKC - The Republican State Committee is
meeting this Saturday morning, 10:00 a.m., on the campus of Mid
America Christian University, 3500 S.W. 119th street. State Chairman
Matt Pinnell is proposing a couple of rule changes. It is always a
challenge to get a Quorum present to change a rule as the state
committee is a very large body. It consists of the County Chairman,
Vice-Chairman, the State Committee Man and the State Committee Woman
from each county as well as every Republican state and federal
lawmaker.

Many times the outlaying counties are not represented or are
underrepresented. I would urge folks that are delegates to attend. I
also urge those reading this e-mail to contact your Republican
representatives to see if they plan to attend and if not, ask them for
their proxy so you can attend in their absence. If you don’t know the
contact information for your county officials, call the Republican
State Headquarters for that information (405) 528-3501.

I look forward to seeing everyone this Wednesday.
