+ AGENDA FOR THIS WEEK’S MEETING
We will have a very busy meeting this week. Mr. Kendall Irvin will
bring his guitar and perform 2 songs he has written and produced. Mr.
Irvin is a professional speaker and song writer. The main song he will
be singing is titled Bye Bye America Bye. His second song is called:
Oh give me a loan. In honor of Independence day, we will show the
short video, THEY PLEDGED THEIR LIVES, THEIR FORTUNES AND THEIR SACRED
HONOR, narrated by Paul Harvey and produced by Huskvarna. Our main
speaker will be Mr. Fred Alavi. Mr Alavi is an Oklahoma businessman
who is the Vice President of the Asian Society of America and a board
member of Oklahoma’s Iranian American Cultural Society. He will give
his perspective on what is going on in Iran. We will have time for
questions and answers following his talk. A big thanks to Dr. David
Yeagley for arranging to have Mr. Alavi come and speak to us. Many may
not know, but some years ago Dr. Yeagley was sponsored by an American
Foundation to travel to Tehran and speak on some kind of a traveling

+ REPRESENTATIVE KERN INTRODUCES PROCLAMATION
President Obama declared June to be the month to recognize the gay,
lesbian, bi-sexual, transgender yada yada yada group of people. If a
nation wants the blessings of God, there couldn’t be a worse decision
made by its leaders. Therefore, Representative Sally Kern has stepped
up with real leadership to offer the OKLAHOMA CITIZENS PROCLAMATION
FOR MORALITY. Pastors, lawmakers and business leaders will gather at
the Capitol Rotunda, 12 noon this Thursday, July 2nd to sign the
following proclamation:
WE THE PEOPLE OF OKLAHOMA, Invoking the guidance of almighty god, in
order to secure and perpetuate the blessings of liberty; to secure
just and rightful Government; to promote our mutual Welfare and
Happiness, do establish this proclamation and call upon the people of
the great State of Oklahoma, and our fellow Patriots in these United
States of America who look to the Lord for guidance, to acknowledge
the need for a national awakening of righteousness in our land.
WHEREAS, "It is Religion and Morality alone, which can establish the
Principles upon which Freedom can securely stand" (John Adams); and
WHEREAS, "We have no government armed with power capable of
contending with human passions unbridled by Religion and
Morality" ( John Adams); and
WHEREAS, "Our Constitution was made only for a Moral and Religious
people" (John Adams), and
WHEREAS, "We have staked the whole future of American civilization,
not upon the power of government…. But upon the capacity of mankind
for self-government, upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern
ourselves, to control ourselves, to sustain ourselves according to the
Ten Commandments of God" (James Madison); and
WHEREAS, "Freedom is not a gift bestowed upon us by other men, but a
right that belongs to us by the laws of God" (Benjamin Franklin); and
WHEREAS, "God who gave us life gave us liberty and can the liberties
of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm
basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties
are of the Gift of God" (Thomas Jefferson); and
WHEREAS, "Whether any free government can be permanent, where the
public worship of God, and the support of Religion, constitute no part
of the policy or duty of the state" (Joseph Story); and
WHEREAS, "We hold sacred the rights of conscience, and promise to the
people…. The free and undisturbed exercise of their religion" (Roger
Sherman); and
WHEREAS, "This great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by
Christians" (Patrick Henry); and
WHEREAS, "When you…. Exercise the right of voting for public
officers, let it be impressed upon your mind that God commands you to
chose just men who will rule in the fear of God" (Noah Webster); and
WHEREAS, "The principles of genuine Liberty and of wise laws and
administrations are to be drawn from the Bible" (Noah Webster); and
WHEREAS, the people of Oklahoma have a strong tradition of reliance
upon the Creator of the Universe; and
WHEREAS, we believe our economic woes are consequences of our greater
national moral crisis; and
WHEREAS, this nation has become a world leader in promoting abortion,
pornography, same sex marriage, sex trafficking, divorce, illegitimate
births, child abuse, and many other forms of debauchery; and
WHEREAS, alarmed that the Government of the United States of America
is forsaking the rich Christian heritage upon which this nation was
built; and
WHEREAS, grieved that the Office of the President of these United
States has refused to uphold the long held tradition of past
presidents in giving recognition to our National Day of Prayer; and
WHEREAS, deeply disturbed that the Office of the President of these
United States disregards the biblical admonitions to live clean and
pure lives by proclaiming an entire month to an immoral behavior;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that we, the undersigned elected
officials of the people of Oklahoma, religious leaders and citizens of
the State of Oklahoma, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world,
solemnly declare that the HOPE of the great State of Oklahoma and of
these United States, rests upon the Principles of Religion and
Morality as put forth in the HOLY BIBLE; and
BE IT RESOLVED that we, the undersigned, believers in the One True
God and His only Son, call upon all to join with us in recognizing
that "Blessed is the Nation whose God is the Lord" and humbly implore
all who love Truth and Virtue to live above reproach in the sight of
God and man with a firm reliance on the leadership and protection of
Almighty God; and
BE IT RESOLVED that we, the undersigned, humbly call upon Holy God,
our Creator, Sustainer, and Redeemer, to have mercy on this nation, to
stay His hand of judgment, and grant a national awakening of
righteousness and Christian renewal as we repent of our great sin.
Signed on the Second Day of July in the Year of our Lord Christ Two
Thousand and Nine.
I urge folks to consider this thought, If there really is a God and if
He involves Himself in the affairs of man, would you rather have his
blessings or be under his judgment and curse? I personally believe
there is a God, He is the God of the Bible, and that he does involve
Himself in the Affairs of man. The responsibility here is upon
Christians to live a righteous life to allow Him to bless this nation.
For the most part, un-regenerate sinners will live a life of rebellion
because it is in their nature to do so. To better understand this, may
I suggest reading the 28th chapter of the book of Deuteronomy to
better understand the desire and nature of God.

+ OTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS - TEA PARTIES
In listening to the Mark Shannon show, I realize many people are just
now finding out that the previously canceled TEA PARTY scheduled for
July 4th on the South Steps of the State Capitol is back on. The Tea
Party will start at 10:00 a.m. and last until close to noon. At this
point I will be one of 4 speakers with my speech titled: RE-IGNITING
THE SPIRIT OF 1776. I will do my best to make the speech substantive
as well as stirring. All of the rest of the Tea Parties I am going to
list are on the 4th, some you may have to contact a person to find out
the details.

In addition to the Tea Parties, Piedmont will be hosting the replica
of the Viet Nam War Memorial from Thursday evening until Sunday
evening. It will be open for guests 24 hours each day between the
times mentioned. I don’t have the exact location but a call to city
hall should provide that information. I have visited the memorial in
Washington as well as one of these moving replicas when it was in
Edmond several years ago. I was a moving experience for me as we lost
a lot of men in that undeclared war that our leaders never intended to
win. On top of that, our returning solders were treated with shame and
contempt.
WOODWARD I almost forgot, former President George W. Bush will be
speaking at the Crystal Beach Park Saturday evening for anyone wanting
to go hear a liberal Republican, that is when it came to domestic
policy and a globalist when it came to our borders and foreign policy.
I would love to go see him but I have at least 2008 other things more
important to do. We can thank former President Bush and the big
spending Republicans in Congress who abandoned conservative principles
from 2000 to 2006 for the current bunch of liberal socialists now
controlling Washington and trying their best to completely change
America from the ideas of our Founders to the ideas of Karl Marx. I
really mean no disrespect, but I wouldn’t walk across the street to
listen to him make a speech.

+ ME, COMMENT ON MICHAEL JACKSON?
Thirty minutes after the initial reports of Michael Jackson’s death I
had already heard more about him and his life than I wanted to and it
has only gotten worse since. First let me say he had incredible
talent, but in my opinion he squandered it away on the carnality of
his own flesh and in the service of Satan, rather than to use it for
the glory of God.
Though I hear a lot of music while in restaurants and other similar
settings, I prefer talk radio over music and wouldn’t recognize by
name a single song which he performed. As a Christian I make an effort
to discipline myself to be careful about listening to music which is
written to stir the carnal nature within. I am also instructed not to
worship any man, though giving honor where honor is due is good and
reasonable. I know many of the un-regenerates loved his music as well
as Jackson the person. They are expressing their feelings now through
what should be recognized as the worship of a man, plain and simple. I
just have a very different definition of success as well as what is
honorable and Jackson didn’t fit the bill.
Fox News has been just as putrid as all the rest of the national news
agencies in their coverage of Jackson’s passing. All the attention
given to his death for days on end is just one more diversion from
what is important in life. While people are glued to the Jackson
affairs, the thieves in Washington are busy about their efforts to
destroy America. Stay alert and pay attention to the important issues
going on in America.

+ 8 DIRTY RINOs (Republicans In Name Only)
This past Friday 8 RINO Republicans in the U.S. House of
Representatives voted with the Democrats to pass the evil Cap and
Trade bill, all based on the fraud of global warming or climate
change. The vote was 220 for the measure and 211 against. Had John
Sullivan (R-Okla) been on the job he would surely have added another
no vote.
Good job to the citizens in Dan Boren’s district. As Oklahoma’s only
Democrat in our congressional delegation, he voted against the
measure. The bill was 1,000 pages long and most of those voting for it
have not read what is in it. One part of the bill will require anyone
wanting to sell their home, to first have a federal agent do and
energy audit. If the home does not have energy saving windows and
modern appliances the home owner will have to have them replaced
before they can sell the home. Do you understand, this type of
legislation is defined as fascist tyranny? The measure is expected to
have a more difficult time passing the Senate. Let us hope and pray to
God that is the case.
