SPECIAL UPDATE

I wanted to send out this special e-mail to detail the: Clouds Over America - What will it take to return to the Constitution? - Conference. I will first list the speakers and topics then detail the time, place and cost.

The first speaker will be Mr. Ralph Bullard, speaking on the FOUNDING OF AMERICA! GOD’S SOVEREIGN HAND. Mr. Bullard recently retired after 30 years as the Headmaster of Christian Heritage Academy in Del City.

The senior class trip has gone on an American Heritage tour to Plymouth and Boston for over 30 years, studying the first hand accounts and places of our origins. Mr. Bullard has frequently served as a guide and is perhaps the most knowledgeable person in Oklahoma on our early history. He also serves on the Board of the Plymouth Rock Foundation.
The second speaker will be Mr. John F. McManus, speaking about the, Erosion of our Nation’s Foundations. Mr. McManus is the President of the John Birch Society, has authored numerous books, articles and spoken all over the world. He has also produced numerous video and DVD documentaries.

The third speaker will be Mr. James Fitzgerald, speaking on the topic of, Enemies From Within. Mr. Fitzgerald is a retired detective from Newark, New Jersey. During his time on the force he discovered a Communist plot to nationalize local law enforcement through "citizen review boards" and other efforts. This led to "Support Your Local Police" committees being founded all over America. With Obama’s plan to create a national security force, this is a real threat to keeping law enforcement local and independent. It is also a threat to the liberty of law abiding citizens.

The fourth speaker will be Mr. Art Thompson, CEO of the John Birch Society. Mr. Thompson will be talking about the Society’s, Fifty Years of Standing In the Gap.
The fifth speaker will again be Mr. Thompson as he will be standing in for the editor of the New American Magazine who had to be somewhere else at the last minute. The subject will be Islamic Terrorism. I believe he will partly use a new DVD produced by Bill Jasper.

ALL OF THESE PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED SPEECHES WILL LAST 30 MINUTES with
15 minute breaks in-between. The Conference will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, January 23rd, and these speeches will end at 5:15 sharp. There will be an 1 hour and 15 minute break, then from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. there will be an opportunity to meet the Authors, and have books signed if you so choose. From 7:00 until 8:15 p.m. we will have a banquet Dinner. Starting at
8:15 until 9:30 p.m. 5 special Oklahoman’s will speak for 15 minutes each.
First will be newly elected State Representative and Medical Doctor, Mike Ritze (R-Broken Arrow). Dr. Ritze will give a conservative perspective on health care issues.
Second will be State Representative Sally Kern. Representative Kern will speak on the Homosexual Agenda. This is not about their lifestyle but about their radical leftist political agenda.

Third will be State Senator Randy Brogdon. Senator Brogdon will talk about the North American Union and the NAFTA Superhighway. There have been some recent but superficial developments regarding the highway.

Fourth will be Thomas A Hill, founder of the Character First Business.
Mr. Hill is also the CEO of Kimray, an oil field manufacturing business. He will talk about how the Character First Program can apply to cities.

Fifth will be Pastor Paul Blair of Fairview Baptist Church in Edmond.
Pastor Blair will discuss being involved in your local communities.
Starting on SATURDAY MORNING January 24th there will be five 30 minute speeches from 9:00 a.m. in the morning until 12 noon. Each speech will have a 15 minute break in-between.
The first speaker will be John McManus with his presentation titled:
DOLLARS & $ENSE. This presentation does a fabulous job of detailing the history of the monetary system of the U.S. and how the current crisis can be laid at the doorstep of massive deficit spending and the Federal Reserve. He will show how successive administrations have increased inflation with fiat currency, and are now creating debt in staggering numbers. At some point in time, will our leaders declare, "game over," we need to start again with a new currency, a new monetary system?

The second speaker will again be Mr. Art Thompson, talking about Obama’s Radical Influences. It is amazing to see, even some conservatives suggest Obama’s performance so far to be moderate. In actuality, Mr. Obama is arguably the biggest leftist, Marxist to ever be elected to the Presidency.

The third speaker will be Bob Donohoo, director of the local JBS internet Meet-ups. Bob is also the Secretary for OCPAC.

The fourth speaker will be Dr. Sterling Lacy, talking about Religious Neutralism. Dr. Lacy is the author of the book, Valley of Decision.

The fifth and final speaker will again be Art Thompson. Mr. Thompson will talk about the vital importance of Returning to the Constitution.

Please pay close attention. The location for this conference will be the Character First Training Center, 520 West Main in downtown OKC.

The cost to attend one or all of the Friday afternoon and Saturday morning speeches is as follows:
One person is $25
A couple is $35
Students are $10

The cost to attend the dinner and Friday evening speeches is $30 per person.
We still have openings but we can only seat 275. As of mid week we were about a third reserved. If we are not fully reserved, you could still attend and pay at the door for the Friday Afternoon or Saturday morning sessions. HOWEVER, if you want to attend the dinner you must make reservations by no later than 5:00 p.m. on next Wednesday the 21st. Pastors and their wives are invited to attend without charge. If you are a pastor and live out of town, you will also have a room provided at the Character First Center. However, you need to make reservations at a different number (405) 348-1745, please ask for Sue.

As I have said before, I believe this will be the most substantive conference held in Oklahoma this year. In the strongest way possible, please make every effort to attend this and try to get one other person to attend. Conservatives must educate themselves and begin to work with other like minded people if we are ever to turn our nation around.
